Introduction

Shades Lamp ("we", "our", "the app") is a mobile application for controlling LED lamps via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app processes and how it is used.

Information We Process

Bluetooth Data

The app connects to your LED lamp via Bluetooth Low Energy. The following data is processed locally on your device:

• Lamp Bluetooth address and name — stored locally to reconnect to your lamp automatically
• Lamp hardware configuration — displayed in the app interface
• Programs and their settings — LED animation programs, their parameters and playlists, which are stored on the lamp itself

This data is exchanged only between your phone and your lamp.

Program Catalog and Updates

The app downloads the program catalog, LED programs and lamp firmware updates from our server (api.shadeslamp.ru) over an encrypted HTTPS connection. To deliver the programs and firmware suitable for your lamp, each request includes:

• The lamp's serial number — an identifier of the lamp's electronics, also shown in the app on the Device screen
• An app installation identifier — a random code the app generates on first launch; it is not derived from your device, account or contacts

These identifiers are used only to answer the request. They are not linked to your name, email address, phone number or any other personal information, are not used for advertising or tracking, are not shared with third parties, and are not stored on the server after the request has been answered.

Local Storage

The app stores the following data locally on your device:

• The last connected lamp and its serial number (for auto-reconnect and the program catalog)
• The app installation identifier described above
• Cached program information (names, descriptions, previews)

This data stays on your device.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect personal information (name, email, phone number)
• We do not require user accounts or registration
• We do not use analytics, tracking, or telemetry services
• We do not use advertising or ad networks
• We do not share any data with third parties
• We do not collect location data (location permission on Android is required solely for BLE scanning as per Android OS requirements)

Data Security

Communication between the app and your LED lamp occurs over a local Bluetooth connection. Communication with our server uses HTTPS.

Children's Privacy

The app does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
